Pilot training at Temora Airport
With a looming shortage of pilots predicted for Australian Aviation, QANTAS called for submissions from interested Local Governments to establish their new training academy.
Temora, home of the best aviation museum in Australia and the former base for pilot training during WWI, were keen to put their hands up. I created a concept that had a strong, flat graphic style. Reminiscent of mid century aviation poster art. The photography was challenging as it was from various sources and while factual, was basic. The solution was to make the photography black and white and use the strong graphics and colour palette to add punch and interest.
